        best shit is always free

        Coda++ from me too, though VMWare Fusion for me instead of Parallels (no reason though, just cos it's the one I tried and bought - both same price)

        SyncroSVNClient - SVN guru client, cannot do without

        VLC for anything video related

        Photography, non PS plugin stuff if that floats yer boat:
        DxO Optics Pro - essential
        Double Take - fun
        Photomatix - HDR fun
        Portrait Professional - more fun, though for quick and dirty the Imagenomic do some cool stuff too


        --edit - none are free, 'cept VLC, but all are cheap and reasonable (DxO is quite pricey, but essential for photog)

              I know of coda I havent tried it out yet. BUt give Smultron ago. Thats what i use.
