about the liver damage thing, I've read that the shit the cause the liver damage is in the leafs, but you should only take the root.

I have it in 2400mg pill form, to try to help me sleep... although I can feel its effects (nothing unusual until I stand up, then it's like whoah, am I slightly drunk?) it doesn't seem to make much difference to my sleep. I haven't bothered trying a higher dosage.

did you order in raw root form, pill, or teabags? from what i hear the root sis the way to go. if you get teabags you need to rip them apart and refine the mush to get a more potent kick.

i personally didn't think i felt fuck all. i'd way rather smoke a bowl...

I'll have to try kava when I'm NOT about to go to bed, to see what happens... just need it to be on a day when I'm not planning on doing anything useful (or complicated, like driving)

We have a couple of kava bars down here, I hangout and have a bowl or two with friends every now and then but thats about it.
