ICQ QUESTION

K Just got a new pc and trying to transfer my contact list from one pc to another.

Which files to i transfer to the new pcs folder?

I already tried ythe DBCONVERTER thing but ???????? I dont get it? Do i transfer that program/icon "DB converter" or another?

I had to do that long ago, best thing is to add them manualy as all the old ones may have a lot of history and that slowed the shit out of my PC ..Just a thought.

I am pretty sure you can just do the following:
**First, install ICQ on your new comp. Make sure you choose "I am already an icq user" and use the same number.
Then,
1) Click "my computer" On your old PC
2) Find the icq directory
3) Find the 2000b(or whatever version you have) directory (in the icq dir)
4) Copy the file that is named the same as your icq number (it will be name like 102858186)
5)Paste that file into the exact same directory on your new PC. You should now have all your contacts.
