I was just wondering how much you all thought some domains were worth.

sex.com
sex.net
sex.org
hardcore.com
freesex.com
adult.com
xxx.com

If those domains were available would you buy them and for how much?

Youre kidding surely?

If none of the traffic had been built up and sex.com was just the url available to buy off someone..... assuming it had 50k daily type-ins which is probably conservative and assuming I could make no more than 1 cent per hit:

50,000 x 0.01 = $500 x 365 = $182,000

Plus a lot extra for the branding, coolness and brandability of the domain name itself.

At face value and without going into too much detail, Id pay a minimum of $250k for it, if I had the money.... but this is all assuming we were talking a few years ago when the world was civilised, the economy was good and countries wernt threatening to nuke each other.
