For people with large monitors, what is the largest resolution?

Depends on the video card, the monitor's native resolution, etc, etc. 2560x1600, 2048x1280, 1920x1200 (I run this one x2)

well... my 24inch LCD goes up to 1920x1080 .... so thats 1080p which I believe is HD.. now 2560x1600 sounds crazy... thats sounds like the resolution of a 42inch LCD or something like that...

my 65 inch lcd is at 2560x1600

not sure why yer askin but as far as video goes anything over 1080P right now is going to be superflous unless you are shooting with red cameras capable of 4096xwhatever res.

top end id stick with 1990x1080 as max till you have a camera that can shoot higher

Oh no, not for shooting. I'm checking out some graphic heavy blog designs that are using HUGE background images as the design, 1600+ pixels wide, and was just curious how large a resolution is out there.
