WORDPRESS experts inside please..

hi all,

i searched on many key words to get this done but didn't found it so that's why i will ask it here..

i have a blog and want to add k-1 news that is displayed here http://www.k-1.co.jp/en/
there is a rss logo to follow it.
i figured out the xml url is http://www.k-1.co.jp/en/k1_news.xml

is there a way to add this news automaticly into my own wordpress blog..

got the plugin and it got all the titles but not the content.

just tried it with FeedWordPress plugin and it works

it works for 75% lol not getting the complete updates as posts only what's displayed here

what are you saying? the total feed only includes a title and maybe a sentence.

it takes the titles and the sentences that are displayed on the xml page not the actual complete news story on the news html page with pictures etc. but then again i don't think that is possible to get the complete pages because those are independent html pages.

You are only going to get what they decide to put in the XML.

What they put in the XML isn't always what you get in the full article.

So you are trying to pull their full articles, images and all, and re-post to your website?

if the full article isn't in their RSS or XML they didn't want you doing that. In which case you'd have to write a custom scraper..

MediaManiac, the publisher of that website has decided they do not want their full articles syndicated.... if you try to "scrape" them then you are essentially "stealing" their content....


and for other cases, you should also note that just because a site offers an rss feed doesn't necessarily give you the right to publish that feed on your site, it is wise to check a tos as some publishers have strict restrictions on republishing anything from their feeds

Maybe they don't even want you to re-publish their feed on your website
