    .com or .net

    Lets say there is a really cool name that you want but the .com is taken, but the .net is free, would you register the .net

    .com is king.

    You could buy the .net if you wanted to, but you'd be sending some free traffic to the .com.

    That being said, I have a couple .net without owning the .com.

        I usually always say to search for a .com is possible, but I've seen some very nice .nets available lately that I think are worth using.

                    not really... maybe only for seo purpose... not for actual business... I am quite sure I would lose a nice bit of traffic because of many would type address with .com instead of .net
