Windows 7 Question

I just installed Windows 7 and my friend told me it's supposed to stop working in August 1st but I just installed it today and it works great. Does anyone know how long this Beta version should function for?

I must have the one that expires next year if it still works and I just downloaded it last week. Doesn't make sense if they have a version that was downloadable last week expire on the 1st of the month.

Actually its about 180 days or 6 months when it stops being fully functional. March 2010 it will start rebooting every so many hours then in another 6 months it stops working completely.

download period is over but it's not hard to find online and you can still get a product key until October.
