    multi-processor scrubbing and chargebacks

With all the billing discussions going on, I see that a lot of people are using a primary processor, and then one or more backup processors in case the first processor declines the card - ie it "scrubs too hard".

Doesn't this increase the risk of chargebacks? I mean, if a processor has fraud scrubbing in place which rejects a card, and you then go through other processors until you find one that accepts it, aren't you increasing the risk of letting a fraudulent card through?

I'm interested in peoples experience on whether this is true - ie multi-processors means more fraud, and if so whether the increased signups outweigh the extra costs of the chargebacks.

SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.

Silly of me to bother starting a thread that relates to adult business on GFY.

I'll just stick to international politics and dick-length comparisons in future

Multiple processors and payment methods are certainly a good idea. If you have your own merchant account as the primary, you can control you own level of scrubbing an know exactly where you stand from there. Fro example, if you want to take only US cards through your merchant account, you can block foreign and pass them to another processor.

Let me know if you have any questions or want to see a walkthrough of our system and fraud tools.

        Thank you, Mitch Farber

          Hey Mitch,

How much are your setup fees for everything and what is your turnaround time? Thanks.

Are you adult or mainstream? If you are selling mainstram products/services, we usually can get you a merchant account in 2 days with only a $45 application fee. If it is adult, you will need a high risk merchant account which is $1700 and takes a few weeks. The high risk fee includes the Visa/Mastercard registration fees.

Netbilling will not charge a setup fee if you mention GFY and we can setup your check processing quickly.
