    Reformatting a Mac

I'm selling an old MacBook. The original disks are OS X 10.4 - just pop in disk one and reboot? Zero out data. Load 10.4 then upgrade with the 10.5 upgrade disk?

Amazing thing is the Mac is 2 years old and I got $699 selling it when I paid like $1k for it new. 2 year use and holds 70% of its value - if only a car would do that!

Macs hold their value pretty well.

Yup, just pop in the 10.4 disk and you can format and install, then upgrade. Pretty easy.
