    Anyone here on Linux

    Any GFY-er running on Linux?
If yes - please say what distribution and why you have chosen that one.
(why do you think it's the best and all other sucks)

OpenSUSE. It supposed basically everything Windows does, is stable without having the 'UPGRADE EVERY HOUR' or 'BUILD YOUR OWN BOAT' issues of other distributions.

I've used, and have/do support most major distributions - but this is my personal choice.

        Slackware for 10 years now.

Debian is also great in my opinion.

Funny yesterday also someone opened thread with same question.
If you have windows installed at the moment, you can install virtualbox and test various distributions there.

The poll should have allowed multiple answers...

that should have said "I haven't used linux on my own computer since 1997"

I really like BSD over linux.

Slackware Linux with the XFCE desktop.

Just because I'm fat and bloated doesn't mean my OS should be.

I have Puppy Linux on a USB stick. It was easy to install and small....I use windows 99.9% of the time, just wanted to play around with Linux and that one seemed easy enough to use. And it's cool having your whole OS on a memory stick.
