Accurate website speed test?

I get different results at everysite ive tried. My page here http://www.blackvideoz.com/vid was loading slow tell me how it loads for you and what you would do to speed it up.

Thats part of the problem. On one test it loaded in 4 secs then the next with the same program it loaded in 14 secs. Its been as high as 26

Only thing I see is there a numerous http requests for the background images which could be improved by using CSS.

You're not using Expire headers for javascript, css, and the images that don't change like the interface elements.

Configure the server to use deflate or gzip compression.

Otherwise not bad at 3.95 sec
