Simple free MPG script recommendations needed.

Until I am fully convinced the problems with smart thumbs are solved by the new update, I need to find something else to use for now. I have several domains I am looking to put to use, and dont really want to buy a ton of scripts only to not use them in a month or two once I am sure there are no more problems with ST.
