a potd script is simple and easy to use -
just load a directory full of images and then call potd.php - it'll use one image at random from the directory per day and not repeat until they have all been used. Then it repeats.

no this potdplugin.com was a place where sponsors added all their potd's and affiliates could go login and insert all their affiliate ids and the script made a page of potds for all the different sponsors the person chose to use and had a few extra things like rate the potd..
it was a cool idea but had a lot of flaws and it had no way for the coder of the script to make any money at all so it was doomed.. that and potds aren't as big as they were in 2003-2006 with all the videos and suchComment
