Just saw the footage on CNN... They downed an Apache Longbow helicopter... man the us better blow that fucker up soon!! no word on the pilots though, they just showed two helmets on the ground..

Helecopters require a LOT of maintenance to fly. Much more than a jet airplane requires. Add in an environment that has a lot of dirt/sand, on top of the fact that they're being flown quite frequently, and the limitations of helecopters become painfully obvious. They're convenient as hell, but if they don't get the downtime they need, they'll start breaking down far too often.Originally posted by BRISK

apache helicopters are amazing, nothing comes even close to them. This thing can fly 200feet above you head and you'll barely listen it. It's big, can carry a lot of missiles and an amazing machinegun.Comment
