Never reg'd a domain without grabbing a code off google, and NEVER had one not work. They also have a neat feature that lets you set a date range to search within, if you want the freshest links. I see a dozen 20% off codes on that first page of results and that's the best you're going to find. No one here has some secret 50% off code.

good idea, but move back and forth, there is a coupon around for $5 transfers to godaddy, so you can save by moving your domains back and forth between registrars when they get close to renewal time

and if you do five at once godaddy gives free privacy too, namecheap gives free privacy for new transfers or registrations

Why not transfer to name.com, you get the renewal at $7.99 and free privacy? That's what I did.
