    Ruby development

Has anyone gotten any projects done in ruby (not necessarily rails)?

I been working with ruby lately and found out that I can get projects done quicker and that are easier to maintain.

Is anyone interested in getting some small projects done and willing to give ruby a try? Let me know (by posting here) and we could work something out.

Okay, let's say that I am interested in having some work done... as a buyer, what are the advantages of Ruby to me?

The two main things I'm more happy about developing with ruby compared to other languages (PHP, .NET, etc) are faster development and it produces very clean code for example my sister can read some of my scripts and understand most of it with little explanation which in return makes it easy to maintain, you can bring another developer and he can look at the already existing code and make modifications/fix bugs fairly easy.

Some drawbacks are that some shared hosts don't let you use ruby and the it can be a little more resource intensive.
