I don't really have anything on their that isn't a throw away. The network gets a daily backup so it could be moved in hours if necessary.

The fact that you even use dreamhost is evidence that you will never make any real money in this biz. If you don't take your hosting serious and simply go with the cheapest deals you can find (especially after reading numerous threads about them being a shitty host) is cause for failure right there.

MANY hosts have the one click installs threw cpanel or direcdtadmin. Dream Host is not providing you with something unique. Why not go with a reliable host that has the 1 click install like phatservers for example.

Why would you put important business related stuff on a host like dreamhost? With the amount of downtime I hear about they should change their name to Nightmarehost.

I agree with taking hosting serious which is why I have boxes with (Hostway/Netnation), Media Temple, Rackspace and Dreamhost. Spam sites don't need $300 a month boxes. Besides it's nice to be able to collect different class C from all the above.
