I get this feeling only because the attempted to hijack 6 planse and only 3 sucedded. wich makes you wonder were were the last 3 to hit? So as blunt and rude as it may sound i pernsonaly see another attack with in the near future. BUT as i am sure you all know the canadina are all willing to help out the US and belive me i will try and do my part

I got the same feeling, just seems that these pricks aren't finished doesnt it. I really feel for everyone over there in the U.S. I'm sure that there wouldnt be anyone who isnt feeling the effects of this. Everyone in adelaide is totally freaked out by the whole thing.

Something that everyone seems to forget is that whoever did this, achieved this particular stunt with ease....and if is was a larger terrorist group then very little of their resources have been used up in this act(hate to tell everyone but maybe you forget the news a few years ago when there was a nuclear arms race in the middle east and that there are now quite a lot of nuclear capable countries in the 'desert')....To call this a cowardly act is very american, because even "top" military speakers on CNN were quoted as saying that they were pretty sure it wasn't by any American because of the commitment such an act would have taken....Religion was the main reason that this happened...Religion gives people the right to persecute and to take lives and to give their own lives in the hopes of reaching 'heaven'....anyone who is not afraid to die is extremely dangerous and a real force to be dealt with.....a man charged with religious might and a sharp object could easily overcome 4 large men (ie. take over a plane) and do whatever he liked without much adversity from 'scared' passengers. Someone is not very cowardly to take his own life and the lives of 50 000 people....Some people might look at it as someone addressing concerns in a very serious (opposite of cowardly) and brave way......As well the last thing that dead people need is prayers, people should look at why and how this happened and how it can be avoided in the future, on a personal and a national level. These things just don't happen because everyone on the plane was not carrying a gun to protect themselves.....

You are wrong Trax... but you're correct too. Don't over-react. Most people seem to think that eliminating (i.e. killing) Bin-Laden will stop the terrorism all together. This is certainly not true! Al-Queda is an advanced organisation and have access to just about anything they need: money, weapons, workers, defence, transport or shelter - they possibly in contact with middle east governments, taking out their leader WILL help, but certainly won't stop anything: Al-Queda's 500+ troops and seemingly unlimited resources will not just dissolve into nothing.

Most have us have probably seen movies where the terrorists demand the release of "prisoner X" from such-and-such a jail or else they'll blow something up, kill someone, drop a bomb, etc etc. Don't forget how big Bin-Laden is. Such terrorist threats demanding his release WILL occur - if Bin-Laden is EVER caught alive.
