Hello,

Does anyone know of any php software or scripts that are like PHPmotion? A youtube clone....that allow adult content..I was going to use PHPmotion but they do not allow adult content..But is it 100% open source and free...?

just curious on the legality of the phpmotion TOS, would something like that stand up in court if one did use the script on an adult site?

the wording is ambiguous, for one thing, saying "pornographic in nature", which is pretty open to debate, as Playboy is not pornographic in my opinion, but Sports Illustrated's swimsuit issue might be considered pornographic by some crazed bible thumpers

You make a good point.....Maybe I will use it and see what happens...I won't put too much work into it just in case...lol...

just read some things on their forum after someone put some work into a site and got understandably annoyed:

There is no protection on the script preventing you from uploading adult content to a phpmotion based site.

this is not correct, phpmotion DOES have some built in features to prevent usage on porn site...the aim is to stop or atleast discourage people from trying to use this for porn
