Never been there and I would never do that. The girls you describe sound like the girls I know that are very eager in convincing everybody they are a veggie and then go order fish when on a date with me. "Because they are vegetarian but feel free to eat it around me"

Most funny thing on a date is that 90% of the time the waiters fucks up and give the girl the veggie food and me the fish, chicken, steak whatever. Big tough guy like me cant be a vegetarian they seem to think

as i said before if you were paying attention food for animals isnt treated the same way and aphids are not treated on soy, or corn or any other cow feed, boom there goes your flimsy excuse lol
and as we have already proven veggies kill more animals you can assume every one of them also has bacteria.
end of your flimsy excuses sir, you lose meat eaters win , you kill more animals for your food than i do, more mammals, insects, birds and bacteria . win win win for me
oh shit i almost forgot you also kill some of the smartest animals on earth to achieve your veggie goal.. win + 1 for me

Nothing better than cold roast turkey sliced thick on a sandwich, with a lil' stuffing in there, some peppered mayo, fresh lettuce and tomato, all on some nice whole grain bread.

Congrats!
An yes chicken is the hardest part. It takes a lot to give that up. Even if you are unable to give it up though I still applaud you.

My girlfriend is vegan, mainly due to ethical reasons...she's a well-read vegan, so isn't just some trend hopping hippy. She's actually not as judgmental as a lot of vegans tend to be...
She lets me eat my steak in peace and in turn, I take her to nice vegan-friendly places.
One of her friends is a bit more of the trendy veg type and doesn't really seem as committed to it as she thinks she is...Comment

I'm a meat eater, but my gf is a vegetarian. I don't bash vegetarians. People are free to eat what they want and if they don't want to eat meat there's nothing wrong with that.I have found vegetarian vs meat eater is just like mac vs pc, its always gonna be some dude who has never used a mac, bashing them, and it will ALWAYS be, meat eaters come in threads like this and talk shit about something they know NOTHING about.
those who have not the strength or determination to stop eating meat, really have no valid input in these discussions, theyve never attempted to change their dieting habits, nor can they control what they put in their mouth.
This thread is directed to vegetarians, and look at how many of the people arent.
just like a mac vs pc thread and its really not worth anyones time to argue. No matter what a vegetarian says, there will be hordes of meat eaters who come in and say we are all unhealthy, we suck, etc.... despite us being much healthier than they are, our weight better, our figure, our enegry etc... they know nothing.
after having changed my life so much and having taken the difficult step of going vegetarian in a meat consuming world, there really is no need to argue with meat eaters who are ignorant to our diet, they dont know anything let alone whats good for them.
Ive learned to just let them make an ass out of themselves and not directly counter them, no different than sopme dude bashing mac because he says they "cost too much"
meat eaters will never understand vegetarians, and most of us dont care really... our diet highlights their weakness.ICQ: 16544251 - Skype: gator37 @ eastlink.ca - email: yngwie @ isys.caComment

Good for you!
Are you there yet that red meat repulls you?
Try going to a butcher and see if the smell feels different then a year ago. You might want to walk out in 5 seconds.
