    Liberation!

Liberation is in full swing. Iraqi's dancing with US soldiers, and tearing down murals of Saddam.

Now who at least doesn't feel good about that?

    Ouch.

Let's hope they stay liberated and don't end up hating the US again.

I saw 6 Iraqis standing around a tank with their hands out and slapping a mural with a shoe while a US soldier vandalized it.

I certainly dont see the ticker tape parade like I was promised.

If that footage is the best they can come up with, its pathetic.

Well you wouldn't expect them to be welcoming us with open arms. I mean the first time we attacked Iraq we basically left them with shit. HOPEFULLY that isn't the case this time, and they'll be happier over time.

Can't blame them for being a bit suspicious.

Who the fuck promised you a ticker tape parade?

I saw what you saw, but also several young Iraqi boys, perhaps teenagers, shaking hands with US soldiers, apparantly thanking them, etc.

If you're disappointed by whatever positivity that does come out of this war, then you're pathetic yourself.

It was declared over and over that our soldiers would be welcomed into Iraqi cities by the populous while the ill equipped and starving soldiers would lay down their arms and surrender before our mighty military.

Liberation is not 6 sand ****** wanting a drink of water.

And with the way the government media machine likes to put a spin on things, if that is the best video they can come up with proving that our soldiers are receiving the heros welcome that they were told would be awaiting them, then they have failed. miserably. If they had any better video, they would be using it.

Again, a video of 6 camel jockies (in Southern Iraq I might add) does not equal a mighty liberation.

I could make a video of the same effect if I walk into a bar and offered to buy everyone a drink. Am I a liberator?

You are easily amused and even more easily led along. Good boy.

It has to be CNN propaganda, these people love Saddam, or thats what the protestors of war want you to believe.

Yeah, I must be easily amused. You're grandiose illusions that you are somehow a non-conformist simply entertain me every time you post.

There you are. Living in Chicago. Working in porn. Wearing your Addidas jogging pants. Complaining about our government. Paying your taxes.
