My computer clock keeps changing
04-23-2009, 10:53 AM
About once a week my computer clock goes back an hour. Windows XP.
Any ideas?
This happens randomly.

I've seen you dress, your computer is probably trying to get back to the '80s so you'll feel more comfortable.

back to the future hey!!
First check that you are set to the right time zone [double click on the clock in the system tray, second tab should be 'time zone']
failing that ... set it to the right time .. go to the last tab (internet time) and un-tick automatic update
I write original keyword rich content. Hit me up on ICQ.

Great, let's see how this works. I had the time zone set right, perhaps it does not configure daylight savings properly.

Did you try changing the battery on the Mother Board?
In November, you can vote for America's next president or its first dictator.

My new dell with vista clock has a habit of running slow by a few minutes.

Enable "Automatically synchronize" and select a server other than time.windows.com (ie: time.nist.gov)
I can't post links but you can also google a program called "Atomic Clock Sync"
History will be kind to me for I intend to write it.
