PhpList...open source, free and if you have CPanel with Fantastico, it should be a one click install! I use it for a list with 15000 members and it works like a dream. Double opt-in too!Got Foot Fetish Traffic? These sites will make you $$$...

I use PHPList for a maintstream site of mine, overall it's good but it's missing a lot of good features (i.e. statistics, etc). And it forces their logo into HTML emails that you send out which pisses me off.
A company I work for uses a program called Email Marketer (by interspire .com), very awesome software. Costs ~$700. We use it to managed 40 lists with about 2 million subscribers right now. Has detailed stats, and lets you setup autoresponder sequences. It's one of the best email platforms I've used and highly recommend it.Comment
