Where do you buy your books from?

                Love my kindle.

And yes, some books are free. Old classics in the public domain are available for free via Amazon.

Lots of free books here: http://www.freekindlebooks.org/

New books you have to buy off Amazon for the most part.

If you want amazon to convert files (e.g. pdf, doc) to Kindle format of r free email the files to [email protected]. They will email you a download link and then you just connect your Kindle to your computer with the USB cable and drag the converted book over.

You can also use convert files yourself with Mobipocket Creator:
                  http://www.mobipocket.com/en/Downloa...ilsCreator.asp

There are also a lot of other converters you can use to convert from various document formats (e.g. lit, converter "clit") to formats you can read on your Kindle.
