I honestly just took out my Commodore 64, disk drive and disks from my parents attic about 6 months ago. It has been with them in the box since probably 1990-1991.
I fired it up and it works fine. Even the 300 bps modem lit up and appeared to work, although there are no longer any BBS that I know of to dial in to to confirm that it did. -
Few months ago took out my old commodore Vic 20.... still working aswell... lolEric
