They have a new feature that give 5 seconds to un-send an email you have sent. Anyone look at it?

I think that more than 5 seconds should be allowed, thats not really much time.
Maybe a cool feature would be to let you unsend a message without time restriction if it has not been opened ? -
I was thinking more along the lines of changing meeting times, and other subjects that make you have to send a second email .Comment

No I didnt Libertine, with all the advancing technology, thought that maybe it pulled the email back from the persons box it was sent too.
I have seen programs that alert you when emails get opened etc and assumed maybe this was taking it one step more.Comment

I'm surprised given it's not actually unsending an email that they don't make it customizeable. Like have the user be able to put whatever time limit they want on there and just make sure they're aware the email doesn't actually go out until that's passed. I think it's capitalizing on stupidity that they're even describing it as unsending an email when it's not.Want to crush it in mainstream with Facebook ads? Hit me up.Comment

Pulling things back from another person's inbox would come down to hacking into his inbox and deleting his email. Effective, but somewhat illegal.
This merely puts a slight delay between clicking "send" and the email actually being sent, so you can avoid those moments when, the second after you click "send", you realize your boss is about to receive an email in which you tell your best friend what a wanker your boss is./(bb|[^b]{2})/Comment
