My friend just got single and to cheer him up we desided to plan for a wild weekend in Budapest. Thought I'd drop by here to see if anyone here could point us in the right direction to make this trip something unforgettable.

We need to know what clubs to go to too meet all the Budapest hotties that are out to party just to have fun.

We also need to know which sex clubs to go too - live shows, striptease, and whores if everything else failes

Recomandations for hotels are appreciated - cheap but good quality near the nightlife.

Warnings are also appreciated - where not to go, what not to do

We are going to budapest the March 19.th to 23.rd
I know there are a few content providers and sponsors in the area and if possible I would like to meet with a good fetish/BDSM sponsor if there are any in Budapest.

Been in Budapest couple of times, and it's a beautiful city.
In most hotels you'll have local ads book in your room full of call-girls and escorts and stuff like that. I remember I stayed in Tulip Inn hotel... (http://www.budapesthotelreservation....lennium.EN.php) It was fine but not near the city center, but cab is not very expensive there but most of cab drivers doesn't know a word of English or any other languages. You can also go to city by subway but that can also be tricky since machines that are selling tickets are only in Hungarin so if you don't know the language - you'll most definitely buy wrong ticket and end up with fine of about 50 EUR, so cab is really a better solution...

Did you go to any clubs or nightclubs? I've heard that some of the nightclubs there can just about ruin you by their exit fee... Do you know anything about that?

Last time I was in Amsterdam I remember being at the red neighbourhood and there were only a couple of hot nice looking girls, the rest were all fat ugly crack smoking type looking bitches.

the prices below are calculated for 1 USD = 200 HUF [atm its 1 USD = 225 HUF. one year before it was 1:140]

About night clubs/sex clubs : I don't know of any and will ask someone for you, but the default is to avoid all the places w/o good reference. Do not just sit in a taxi, but always call for one, some companies who won't screw you over:

A38 Boat : Best events ever, but for some you have to book tickets in time. Check the calendar ;)

Hotels: will look this up for you, but need more details about what kind of place you're looking for / what price range you're looking for, etc.

However I live in another city ~90 kms from Budapest I am more than happy to give you any help you might need. Check my whois info for my phone number, and save it: in case you need help or whatever.

Where not to go: to be honest, I've heard LOTS of horror stories about foreigners getting ripped off badly in nightclubs, etc. Never get into a random taxi and ask the driver to "take us to the best nightclub!" this is not working here! You must have a list+map from places you want to visit, and you can have a GREAT time in Hungary. But if you come w/o proper plans and information you can have a very nasty experience as well. Young people are usually good, nothing to be afraid of. Use your common sense: leave the place if you don't like the people inside or if you see some suspicious bad looking guys. Also do not enter places where the staff who is at the entrance is not happy and helpful but bad looking or whatever...

What not to do: you're not allowed to smoke weed and have any kind of drugs with you. They won't check you at clubs, and policemen won;t check you either, but just don't roll and smoke a huge splif in the middle of the city. ) However if at places you see ppl smokin' feel free to do it as well. Also you can ask the bartenders or friendly looking ppl for this. Do not walk on the street with open bottle of alcoholic drinks. Its not allowed.

Lot of nice places to visit, but I need to know how much time you want to spend on this or are you interested in this at all.

I don't think we wish to spend most our money on hotels but we want to live fairly well in central Budapest near the nightlife area. I guess something around 50 to 80 Euros pr night for a double room.

I am really happy I made some research about Budapest before I went over there for the first time. I've been many places in eastern europe before but I have never heard of as many scams before as I have been reading about Budapest the last few days... Sounds like a scary city to be a naive blue eyed scandinavian in...
