Flash VS wmv ?

I just tried encoding some videos into flash formart

I was surprised when the video file was larger than wmv and worse quality ?
from what Ive seen online flash makes the video smaller with the same or better quality


Does anyone know anything about it ?

What are you using to render the video in flash?

Most likely you just need to adjust your settings...

im using premiere ,

There isnt much I can adjust I dont think

yea, premiere generally renders rather large files....

I like to use sorenson... expensive, but works wonders

I've had good and bad luck encoding to flash, but nine times out of ten a WMV file turns out to be smaller then anything I get in flash format

I've tried a number of software programs and all seem to produce the same results, if anyone knows of a decent one lemme know.

It is in converting issue you had. Mmmm.. try to research it, I'm afraid to give a wrong information though.
