    Not accepting Visa?

So is there anyone out there that has refused to bow down to Visa and pay their fees that is running a profitable pay site? I am just curious to know about this as i've seen some dwindle that couldn't afford the fees. Is there an alternative you've found that is working well? Did you already have a huge client base when you refused to accept the Visa terms? Has anyone started a new paysite/affiliate program and not used Visa as a payment option that they were able to get it off the ground? Like I said just doing some research as to my next project so I thought you guys might be able to shed some light.

tis true unless it was perhaps someone who had just gotten started when the fees took effect and perhaps they had splurged their capital on content and design, etc.

        Hi,

Visa is very important to the success of a site. Many, many buyers have Visa and no other cards.

VISA is 75% of our credit card traffic. I don't see how a site could do without.

Why would anyone with a huge client base not "bow down" to visa? Sounds crazy and I would imagine it would put a hurt on signups.

But that's just my opinion, I could be wrong.
