    FMS question

Can you detect if a live video stream is running with the Flash Media Server Streaming Server?
Or do I need the FMS Interactive server for that (and some actionscript)?

I don't want members of my site to go to the live page only to see that there is no video running.

Ahhhhhh... Alright. They released a new version of FMS. FMS 3.5
And they finally supply scripts that do what I asked above.

The ActionScript class NetStreamInfo contains 19 new properties that report the state of the streams received from Flash Media Server.
Nice. Now I only need to learn Actionscript. Duh.

Hi Davy, just now saw this thread. Looks like you have it figured out now. But even in the 3.0 version you can see what is going on in the Flash Media Administration Console
