What Video Editing software?

I need a good robust video editing software to edit clips, convert to different formats, add watermarks, screen grabs etc etc

Currently using Ulead Video Studio but im not happy with it.

Dont wanna spend an arm and a leg but any suggestions is appreciated..

boilsoft video splitter for splitting wmv/avi/mpg ($35)
adobe flash cs3 encoder (comes with flash cs3) *check adobe.com*
frame shots (grabs frames easily from mpg/avi/wmv) ($30)

I'm using Video Studio too, LOL. Do you know if there are any tutorials out there for it? I've looked around and haven't been able to find anything. I've been able to do everything that you want to do though... what can't it do that you are trying to do? Just curious as it does seem kind of limiting.

Sony Vegas is the easiest way to go for edits - more advanced work I do in After Effects

I worked for a media firm who's primary business was video production. They use Avid. Only comparable software for the Mac is Final Cut.
