Wordpress and tags

If you are going to no index your tag pages in wordpress, does it maybe make sense not to use tags at all?


what if you thought you may have 1000 different unique tags over 300 posts, too much to keep track of?

I know people can search archives, but is that worth it?

people click the tags while viewing the current post, to take them to more results, faster than doing a search.

Unless you have found a way to make the Searchengine sign up through your affiliatelinks, you better make sure you spend more time on optimezing your pages for the surfers, instead of the SE
