I have a feeling the thread would get locked or deleted and some of the posters would get banned. That seems to be how our industry works. Protect & help those who choose to fuck others. Ban those who choose to help others by bringing bad practices to light. Seems a little backwards to me but what do you expect from an industry that can't regulate itself?

I think GFY is one good way. Just post a "About to do biz with..." thread and ask others for their past experience.

I personally was taken for a total of $275 (2 TGP site designs in 2003) from 2 people who are now long gone. So now, because of these 2 individuals, others have lost out of any income from me unless they are willing to take payment upon delivery of product... $275 is not a lot of money but it's the princable.

I never called out anyone either on GFY or other boards. I have a firm belief in Carma...

The internet has made it so that any fuck with a pc can theive their way into a nice looking position. Untill kneecaps start getting broken and fuckers are just scared to steal product outright, it will continue.

Fuck lawyers, fuck courts, fuck dmca, fuck all that shit. Protect your content with examples of why not to steal it.

It all went wrong when the first lawyer got involved. It should have never gotten that far.

Protect your content with all available modern means, and when that dosen't work break someone in fucking half.

I know that alot of people might read that and think otherwise, but the facts are right there in black and white. I have a program with a really good girl i'm hoping to have live very soon. I'm doing everything I can to insure that the content remains on that site. When that fails, and i'm sure it eventualy will, I wont cry about tubes, I wont hire a lawyer and I wont file worthess dmca bullshit.
I am new to the program game, but tgp's ive been running for years. Never stole content, never posted stolen content. Always did right by the webmasters who gave me the privelige of promoting their programs. Stayed away from tubes and shifty shit. I might not be a big player, but the fact is I am in the game and I play fair. I expect the same of everybody.
If I made a living of scamming and theving I would expect that one day I would be held accountable and when that day came, I could only blame myself.
All it takes is one good example, and the rest of the sheep will take notice. To many people treat this industry like they are entitled to it just because they can slap up a tube and fill it with stolen porn. I say fuck that.

That's how corruption works everywhere, in every industry and every level of society, it's not just in adult.

To put it in a more pragmatic perspective, those who scam and steal have something to share with their would-be protectors, be it money or power. Those who don't have nothing and therefore are not interesting alternatives to protect.
