IPhone Ringtone question

Bought an IPhone for my son's GF for XMas.

She's trying to put music ringtones on it and tried using the feature in ITunes on her PC then moving the created file to her phone. It's on her phone and she can select it as a ringtone but it doesn't play (or there's no sound in the file) when she gets a call.

Any suggestions?

I wish I could help PK, I've never had that problem before. I just searched some Mac forums and they say to goto the software reset in the settings:

Go to Settings --> General --> Reset --> Reset All Settings

She got it figured out. Had to do a resync to her pc a couple of times for some reason.
