I would do more research before spending all that money. Alot of programs arent optimized for it and some are actually slower than just using a regular old quad core I had read.

Don't buy from cyberpowerpc. Either use ibuypower.com or go to newegg.com and put it all together yourself.

If you're using it for gaming, you want the most expensive one you can get

                      Shot in the dark

Okay, you didn't give me much to go on, so I'll play by your rules and choose from the choices on the page:

                      IntelĀ® Core™ i7-965 Extreme Edition 3.2GHz 8MB Cache LGA1366
                      • Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit
                      • Asus X58 Chipset Mainboard
                      • 12GB PC1333 DDR3/10666 RAM
                      • 128GB Solid State SATA Drive
                      • 1TB 7200RPM SATA-II DATA HDD
                      • Dual NVIDIA GTX 280 1GB Video
                      • 20X Blu-Ray Player Drive
                      • 20X DVD Rewritable Drive
                      • Flash Media Writer/Reader
                      • CoolerMaster Cosmos Gaming Full Tower 800W Case
                      $3599

There are a few key reasons here, that might help you out regardless of which system you get or where.

First off, the i7 processors use Triple-channel RAM...that means you'll need three sticks of RAM (regardless of capacity) to get the most performance from the machine. Most of the machines on that page had either 3GB (the minimum) or 6GB...not much better, IMO. This system has the 12GB and the 64 bit OS can access all of it and will do very well with video encoding, picture editing or gaming. The Extreme edition process is the fastest on the market so it smokes.

Second, it has an SSD (solid state drive) which also provides blazing read speeds (writes are slower, so this is good to run games from or apps...don't use it for pic/video storage).

Third, the dual video cards give you plenty of horsepower and finally, you have a 1Terabyte main drive to store all those vids and pics. This particular rig is also liquid cooled, so no worries on heat. Just read the manual on care and feeding of water-cooled systems and you are set with a primo rig for decent cash.

                      Hope this helps...

I wouldn't buy any of those. I'd find another place if I wanted a complete system. Those choices listed on that site aren't that great. The MSI is the cheapest x58 motherboard out there, it's "ok" but I'd go with another brand such as asus. The only two systems with asus there have water cooling kits in them, completely pointless unless you want to show it to your nerdy friends.

As long as the system has a good heatsink there won't be any temperature problems. The best water cooling kits are only slightly better than best heatsinks, as long as the cpu isn't too hot it's fine. Why waste money on a water cooling kit? Not to mention those kits can leak and destroy your system. Good luck trying to get the system replaced if that happens.

There's also a fair amount of people out there having issues with SSD, I'd wait on that. They only say "solid state drive" too and not what brand/model that I see. There's some shitty ass SSD out there and some badass ones. If you don't know what it is then fuck buying it.

There's plenty more reasons why I wouldn't buy any of those but I'll stop here.
