Anyone Else Gone Back To Playing COD4 ??

I'm not digging COD5 online at all.

The maps are so big, you end up having to charge around for a few mins just to find someone, then when you do chances are you will just get shot right away (since the guns suck balls untill you reach a higher level anyway).

There's about 10 other things which i don't like about it, but i won't bother going into a huge rant over it.


And don't get me started on those damn dogs!


Back to COD4 for me...

I'm so glad I didn't buy this game, the more and more I read about COD5 the more I want to get my COD4 back.

I was on the fence about getting COD5, heard some bad things about it. COD4 online kicks ass, love playing free-for-all when I get the chance.

BTW...what guns are you using in COD4 online? I use the MP5 but it seems like it doesn't have the stopping power as other guns

Thats what i use, but with the stopping power & deep impact perks aswell...

MP5 is my SMG of choice. Put a silencer on it and use the radar jammer and you'll be powning in no time.

Next time try the shotgun. Once you learn how to work the maps you'll be top 3 in kills every time.

I will have to give those perks a try. I tried using the AK47u but was going through ammo way to quick. I like the G3, but it's a single shot even with the double tap perk.

I use the shotgun on most of the close combat maps like "Wet Work" and land in the top three most times. The Skorpion is another great gun for close combat, but you run short on ammo quickly.

Personally, I don't like COD -world at war, at all... i think it sucks.

COD4 Is ok... but the game I have had the most fun with is BattleField: Bad Company.

That game is non stop fun from the time you login til you logout.

Anyone else playing that on PS3?

I did pick up MK vs DC Universe for shits n giggle the other day, and I am becoming addicted to that as well...anyone else?

Never bought cod 5 I thought it looked kinda lame from the previews.. I play cod4 every night with some friends on the PC. I have to admit I've never like single player games, so 9 times out of 10 I never even try the single player part. Well I was a bit bored the other day and gave it a try with COD4 and was pretty amazed at it.

I like bigger maps, which is why I play Battlefield Bad Company. Better than both COD4 and COD5 IMO.

But you're right about COD5, the low level guns suck balls. In COD4 I rock the M16 and I think it's one of the first guns you get.

I will have to give Battlefield a try. I like the smaller maps IMO, more action. I guess a bigger map would be cool, but you have to have alot of players in there.

I'm still playing COD5, I think it's pretty good still. I actually like the larger maps because I like to snipe. On COD4, it's kinda harder to snipe now especially since everyone and their momma knows where the sniping points are lol. The only thing I really hate about COD5 are the tanks, those are even worse than the dogs
