Dedicated server question
Is a p4 2.0ghz w/ 1GB RAM + IDE drive w/ FreeBSD enough to handle 250,000k+ uniques per day to galleries comfortably? Do I need SCSI or twin processors? I'm not going to be running lots of trading hahahahahahas on this box.

cant believe the word s*c*r*i*p*t has been banned now. but yes, for a *BSD box, you should be fine upwards of 750k+ uniques daily... if you start pushing 1m or more i'd definitely get a beefier system..I'm not going to be running lots of trading hahahahahahas on this box....promise her a defamation, tell her where the rain will fall..Comment

I'm running a similar box and i'm not sure how many
uniques are visting in total, but I've pushed the bandwidth usage to a little over 20 Mbps and the load on the box was still well below 1.http://www.bigboobdreams.com
