My Nod32 just caught this on my Pc
c: \ WINDOWS \ system32 \ drivers \ etc \ hosts

and

googlestats.ru/h.php?cachingDeny=ice420......

Explorer is acting weird and google searches are all fucked up!


Any clues on how to get rid of this?

wipe your hosts file... or get spybot search and destroy. I think it will remove lines from the hosts file for you.

That's right. Despite the lore of Nod32, S&D, registry cleaner, and a dozen others I tried. In the end, microsoft's program eliminated it.

Remember to those dealing with virus bullshit. Turn OFF your SYSTEM RESTORE before trying to clean up your shit. Once clean, turn back on.

I had a virus thing a couple weeks ago, tried EVERYTHING. Spybot, Ewido, . all of them. Only thing that got rid of it was windows Live one care. The free trial will still remove everything without having to buy it. But its so slick I finally just bought it.

I got the fire wall running, virus protection, web protection all running full time, and ZERO fucking lag with computer. It will block all programs when you first install it, but when you open any application to use, it will ask to keep blocking or unblock that program.
