    Mac OS on Linux?

    http://www.maconlinux.org/

Mac-on-Linux makes it possible to run Mac OS (including OS X) under Linux/ppc. MOL is not an emulator but runs runs the OS directly without any CPU emulation. Moreover, NO ROM IMAGE is required.

Anyone want to test it out? I'm not that daring

    Spend you some brain.

It will only run on Apple computers. Read how it says ppc processors only. Intel and AMD are i386, not ppc.

I saw that too, but then I saw this on the site...

MOL can run on non-Apple hardware.

Who else besides Apple uses PPC? Perhaps they are running on the old school clones?

Otherwise, I run Linux on my Mac and then run Mac on my Linux. Seems a bit redundant, but would probably give some geeks a wet dream.

What's your side. That could go both ways depending on how you look at it.

Someone is selling PPC units with Linux preinstalled. Now that's a niche market.

It doesn't run on Intel/ADM i386 based cpus (PC).
