    Merchant Processing

I am shopping for merchant processing, and I am looking outside the U.S.. I am looking to do tangible, and intangibles. I am not doing 100,000 a week, day, or month. So most of the GFY merchant bank folk. No need to contact me.

For others who have found alternatives in the UK for example. Please provide some experience. I am looking at..

How did you determine that you should try to look for a merchant account in the UK with a UK Corp and local rep, as opposed to the US?

US Banks require so much dollar amount before processing. For example, $10,000.00 a week.

Also, my old Verotel rep keeps me in the loop on different options available. Since I need a tangible processor, and not real fond of PayPal alternative, better to get my own.

Also need for processing custom shoot orders, as well as DVD, clips, membership, etc.

I'd be wary of having some local rep in another country have anything to do with my business, but maybe it's a good option if they explain the ins and outs. I believe Netbilling does merchant accounts and processes tangible goods as long as you have a way to track the shipment. I don't know what their minimums are but I don't think they are that high.

The local rep is in Miami.

He just worked for Verotel North America.

            Nah. NetBilling is still high.

I know you wanted merchant processing, but http://www.ecsuite.com/ This is CCBills mainstream processor, they may have an EU setup since CCbill does. The rates are normally cheaper than your own merchant account+gateway.

                  Just tossing the idea out.

                        European Merchant Accounts

European banks are able to offer multiple MIDS, payout in different currencies and have a higher tolerance to high-risk processing than some of their US counterparts. A European company with a European resident director is required but we are able to provide a fully compliant UK company (100% owned and controlled by the US merchant) which is used solely to obtain the merchant account. Payments can be made direct from the European acquirer to the US merchant.

PCI compliance is not required of the merchant as we operate our own fully PCI compliant gateway.

If anyone would like any more information on our service please contact me direct at [email protected] - I'm more than happy to address any questions you may have.

We are also one of the Platinum sponsors at Internext in January and are also sponsoring the WebMasterAccess show in LA this month. We'll be at both the shows and available for one-on-one meetings.

                        Thanks
