I just received the following emails from the Manatee County Planning Department:

Based on the Traffic Impact Statement dated September 25, 2008 and the subsequent analysis for Foster Lee Rezone, Public Works Transportation Systems Management Division recommends approval of the Traffic Impact Statement. The applicant has addressed the Comprehensive Plan requirements and provided analysis to substantiate the findings.

Based on the information presented in the Impact Statement a complete Traffic Impact Analysis will be required prior to issuance of concurrency. By copy of this e-mail Manatee County Public Works Transportation Systems Management Division has forwarded these comments to the Manatee County Planning Department.

I have heard from Barney and he will be sending me the sufficiency letter either today or tomorrow. We will plan on advertising this for the Planning Commission on December 11th and the Board of County Commissioners on January 8th.
