    content question (legality)

    sup guys...

i was just wondering about the legality of posting random people's pics on a "twist" off of a pic rating site would be... basically the site idea would encourage people to flame the person based on their image (people would send in the pic, along with info as to WHY this particular person should be flamed, ie an asshole, etc etc).. i know, its childish but i think it'd get popular...

so its not any different than a pic rating site, this one would just allow people to make comments, they wouldn't be forced to flame them but its obviously the site's intention

so, would it be legal to do this w/o the person's permission (the people getting flamed), or no?

    ....flame away

The short answer? No, if you don't have a model release they could sue you for using their image or likeness without their permission.

The long answer? Consult an attorney.
SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.
