Question for program owners

At the end of the day, when taxes have been paid, models have been paid, servers have been paid and everything else had been paid is left in pure profit on a standard $24.95 (or whatever you charge) sale?

I was a program owner once and I went tits up. The cost of running the program was too much to turn a profit. Of course, we did pretty embarrassing numbers. I'm guessing programs make their money off bulk... who knows? All that I know is that I failed miserably.

True, its sorta secret and I understand if people dont want to reveal. Maybe someone who just knows the economics will come out and explain it.

Its different for every program owner. Some hire models for exclusive, some buy cheap content etc.

If you grow with your business then is shouldn't be too bad. You can't start at the top there is nowhere else to go. Local "talent" that cost next to nothing, doing it yourself, small hosting package, then upgrade talent and servers when you progress.

In some niches the shittier the content and design the better the conversions. So, if you pick wisely the less money you spend the more you'll make ;)
