VideoCharge is a great program for many uses, but in my experience, it may have issues successfully splitting FLVs without re-compression. The first split will be valid, but the others may not play right. Try it and report back, please MaDalton.

same here, jim...
i have gone through their support, and i know that they read this board (because they contacted me), and we were never able to fix the issue.

good luck
As I mentioned before, Videocharge won't split Quicktime files without re-compression either and every time I post in the VC forum, they just keep asking me to send more samples of videos that won't split without them ever solving the issues. Frankly, I think the Quicktime issue is un-fixable without Apple's intervention since I don't think that third party app developers can access Quicktime tools or source code, but maybe the Flash is.
Strange. I use videocharge to split files and it has a function to split without recompression.
It has the function, but the function doesn't actually work to split Quicktime nor Flash. It just works with the other video formats like WMV, MPEG, and AVI. Try it for yourself.
