    ICQ problems?

It seems like I've been having some ICQ problems, but I don't think that it's my computer, because it's the same one 3 of my machines. Everyone that sends me messages while I'm idle or away seem to not be going through. It could be a problem with Adium, but it could also be an issue with others using trillian.
Anyone else having issues with Adium, Trillian or ICQ in general?

I randomly have bizarre ICQ problems, myself, but I blame it on my ICQ client.. sometimes, I get a 'clear on clear' message, which means, even when selecting their text, I can't see it, or copy it to the clipboard. Closing, and re-initiating the conversation fixes it. Strangest damn thing..

Adium is built on the same core. See if there are any upgrades for your install.

I'm getting messages from some users showing up days late or not at all it seems like. I've got the more current version, have checked all the settings etc, and it's still acting strangely.

Try removing your prefs. No idea where they're stored these days, but back when I was running MacOSX, it'd be under ~/.adium. I think. Try moving that folder from the shell - keep it as a backup, and re-add everything to it, just to see if it works. Sometimes minor versions and updates don't manage to deal with old config files well.

My ICQ, doesn't get offline messages that's why I'm lost whenever someone asked me to do things to this and that beforehand, and yet I didn't have any idea what was that.

That seems to be part of the problem for me too. On the occasion that I do get them, they care days late it seems, and come in bulk.
