It also sounds to me like hes just wanting to make contact and be involved again. Their mistake might be brushing him off as a peasant. If hes coming at them like _ "give me money" then fuck him. But, if he is initiating contact to some past peers that he apparently helped out immensely in the past for possible ongoing business and friendly relations... then fuck them for snubbing the dude that helped them create what is now one of the biggest corporations in the US.

I can totally imagine a situation where this is true. I'm sure Sergey and Larry had all the intention of crediting him and bringing him on board later. But once Google took off and they were looked at as geniuses, they didn't want to admit that a key element was created by someone else. It's actually a pretty typical story in regards to mega fame or success.

Ok, I was kind of leaning his way until I watched 5 minutes of the vid.

Too many excuses and crying about problems getting his phd as to why he
didn't sign on when asked.

I would respect a "Hey I fucked up, but can I get some recomendations".
