What do I do next?

It's me again, the newbie..Thank you guys for your feedback, I appreciate all the help that I can get..I will be doing TGP galleries as well as others...Now where do I start on getting traffic to my sites.Thank you..

Make your gallerys with links to your sponsors or wherever you want the surfers to go... (the banners and text links... not the thumbs) and start submitting them to wherever you can. That's basically about it in a nutshell... you can submit to the search engines if you want... but I've found it to be an incredible waste of five minutes as there's so much porn listed in them already, the odds of anyone finding your link in an SE is slim.

The number one best thing you can do is go to your preferences on this board, set it to be able to view the last 9 months, get a case of beer or whatever... then sit and read. Make notes, copy and paste to print, whatever... But sit and study all the information that has already passed. You'll gain a ton of insight that you could never get by asking a question like 'What next'.

Once you have a firmed up plan from what you have read up on, then you can frame more specific questions on things you are interested in or didn't understand.

Estylez, I would go here if I were you... I can't even begin to tell you how much it has helped me, and still does....... It's like a Webmaster Bible or something to me........ it has ALL the info you could ever use and then some. Pay close attention to the meta tags and such, it will benefit you greatly with Search Engines and such. http://www.webmastermatrix.com/

Next, if your gallery has at least 20 pics and it is pretty clean, go here:
http://dmoz.org/Adult/Image_Galleries/Single_Pages/

and pick the category of your gallery and submit it here... lots of Search Engines spider this one and it is a very handy bookmark, so bookmark these two places and use them.

I am not trying to be smart, but you will learn it all pretty much in on the first site I gave you and the rest you just picj up as you go.

I hope someone has pointed out that while alot of things can easily be summed up in a neat little package, (as I did in my previous post) it isn't quite as simple as just "build a site and they will come". This is the misconception that I was under when I started. It's going to take ALOT of patience, trial 'n error, persistence, trying new things, and getting used to living on Kraft Mac 'n Cheese. If you figure out a way to make a decent months wage overnight, I would love to know it... I've been doing this for a while and am still not making enough to pay for the weeks supply of beer. (luckily I have a girlfriend that makes more money than God)... I'm sure there is still porn-money to be made out there... but I am also still on that road lookin' for it... so if something doesn't work out... try something else. And keep trying.... and trying...

In the end, you'll either have discovered what works best for you and honed it into a profitable and enjoyable business...

or you'll end up just as nuts as the rest of us here at GFY.
