nice name. a couple of observations- 2 Letter dot coms are selling in the same price range and are even more rare. also, since this board does not permit editing after the first few minutes, i recommend using a comma or space instead of the dot. anyway, you may find a buyer for the package of course; but, rex dot com by itself may be a more likely sale rather than packaging it with the names that you have imho.

best of luck- it is a great name, just not sure it is a great package.

you are exactly right, and actually you would not need the www. in front of it. Someone pointed out to me though that it is actually easier and one less dot worth of typing to just go to rexnews.com as opposed to news.rex.com. It's all a matter of approach and branding.

exactly, that is why its hard to compare domains. Its a matter of branding more than anything. Someone that wants to be "King" of their industry or service universally might just want to be REX

Google wasn't even a real word, they made it up! Now is officially in the dictionary. At least REX is a real word and a globally universally one at that REX is the latin based word for King. Others here have disagreed with me, but we have always thought that it would make a great adult name for an adult site, even with the suite of domains. We just dont have the resources to drive the name to be such a dominant force in the industry, otherwise selling it would not even be an option.

I am surprised they have never contacted you about it since it is parked. I know someone on the board and I will try and run a hypothetical by him with regards to their web and domain presence. I won't approach them directly to avoid dispute complications. The best scenario of course is them contacting you first...
