Major Cities database

Can I buy a database say all canadian cities ? so I don't have to do it myself?

Can I buy a script+database that will allow a user to sign up based on city and have a page that will pull only posts related to his city?

and the user can make posts to any city?

I want a script that will allow a post in a real city that the admin doesn't have to confirm first..

Where can I find something like this?

I'm trying to be general as fuck cause I just want something basic to go online asap.. It could be a joomla plugin for all I care.. I just want it to be surfers posts based on cities..

I don't even care if it involves hacking up a classifieds site.. Anything quick..

I think that is a database of locations based on the users ip.. A little more than what I want..

I Just basically want a simplified classifieds with all canadian cities already listed.. It isn't a classifieds site but that won't matter once it's hacked up..

Just find a form that is from an online store that has the Canadian cities in a pulldown menu, and copy the code.

... or read the data from the MaxMind (or other free GeoIP systems) which specifically have Canadian support, and grab all of those from Canada..

All I really need is something that sets cookies..

I think what I want is a classifieds/craigslist script that isn't encoded and is template based that I can hack apart and comes with cities already programmed into it..
